(42) Keep up prayer from the declining of the sun till the darkness of the night and the morning recitation; surely the morning recitation is witnessed.

(43) And during a part of the night, pray Tahajjud beyond what is incumbent on you; maybe your Lord will raise you to a position of great glory.

(44) He said: My Lord! give me a sign. He said: Your sign is that you will not be able to speak to the people three nights while in sound health.

(45) And We called to him from the blessed side of the mountain, and We made him draw nigh, holding communion (with Us).

(46) And certainly We revealed to Musa, saying: Travel by night with My servants, then make for them a dry path in the sea, not fearing to be overtaken, nor being afraid.

(47) Bear then patiently what they say, and glorify your Lord by the praising of Him before the rising of the sun and before its setting, and during hours of the night do also glorify (Him) and during parts of the day, that you may be well pleased

(48) They glorify (Him) by night and day; they are never languid.

(49) And He it is Who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon; all (orbs) travel along swiftly in their celestial spheres.

(50) Say: Who guards you by night and by day from the Beneficent Allah? Nay, they turn aside at the mention of their Lord.
