(51) And the true promise shall draw nigh, then lo! the eyes of those who disbelieved shall be fixedly open: O woe to us! surely we were in a state of heedlessness as to this; nay, we were unjust.

(52) The great fearful event shall not grieve them, and the angels shall meet them: This is your day which you were promised.

(53) On the day when We will roll up heaven like the rolling up of the scroll for writings, as We originated the first creation, (so) We shall reproduce it; a promise (binding on Us); surely We will bring it about.

(54) And they ask you to hasten on the punishment, and Allah will by no means fail in His promise, and surely a day with your Lord is as a thousand years of what you number.

(55) And when Our clear communications are recited to them you will find denial on the faces of those who disbelieve; they almost spring upon those who recite to them Our communications. Say: Shall I inform you of what is worse than this? The fire; Allah has promised it to those who disbelieve; and how evil the resort!

(56) Certainly we are promised this, and (so were) our fathers aforetime; this is naught but stories of those of old.

(57) Allah has promised to those of you who believe and do good that He will most certainly make them rulers in the earth as He made rulers those before them, and that He will most certainly establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them, and that He will most certainly, after their fear, give them security in exchange; they shall serve Me, not associating aught with Me; and whoever is ungrateful after this, these it is who are the. transgressors.

(58) Say: Is this better or the abiding garden which those who guard (against evil) are promised? That shall be a reward and a resort for them.

(59) They shall have therein what they desire abiding (in it); it is a promise which it is proper to be prayed for from your Lord.

(60) We have certainly been promised this, we and our fathers before; these are naught but stories of the ancients
