(42) Surely you and what you worship besides Allah are the firewood of hell; to it you shall come.

(43) Do you not see that Allah has made subservient to you whatsoever is in the earth and the ships running in the sea by His command? And He withholds the heaven from falling on the earth except with His permission; most surely Allah is Compassionate, Merciful to men.

(44) And strive hard in (the way of) Allah, (such) a striving as is due to Him; He has chosen you and has not laid upon you an hardship in religion; the faith of your father Ibrahim; He named you Muslims before and in this, that the Apostle may be a bearer of witness to you, and you may be bearers of witness to the people; therefore keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and hold fast by Allah; He is your Guardian; how excellent the Guardian and how excellent the Helper!

(45) And on them and on the ships you are borne.

(46) So when the trumpet is blown, there shall be no ties of relationship between them on that day, nor shall they ask of each other.

(47) And He it is Who has created man from the water, then He has made for him blood relationship and marriage relationship, and your Lord is powerful.

(48) When he said to his father and his people: What do you worship?

(49) They said: We worship idols, so we shall be their votaries.

(50) He said: Have you then considered what you have been worshipping:
