(1) He said: "He says: A heifer not trained to till the soil or water the fields; sound and without blemish." They said: "Now hast thou brought the truth." Then they offered her in sacrifice, but not with good-will.
(2) Make trial of orphans until they reach the age of marriage; if then ye find sound judgment in them, release their property to them; but consume it not wastefully, nor in haste against their growing up. If the guardian is well-off, Let him claim no remuneration, but if he is poor, let him have for himself what is just and reasonable. When ye release their property to them, take witnesses in their presence: But all-sufficient is Allah in taking account.
(3) We created man from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape;
(4) Behold! thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man, from sounding clay from mud moulded into shape;
(5) (Iblis) said: "I am not one to prostrate myself to man, whom Thou didst create from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape."
(6) The Day when the Trumpet will be sounded: that Day, We shall gather the sinful, blear-eyed (with terror).
(7) On that Day will they follow the Caller (straight): no crookedness (can they show) him: all sounds shall humble themselves in the Presence of (Allah) Most Gracious: nothing shalt thou hear but the tramp of their feet (as they march).
(8) Not the slightest sound will they hear of Hell: what their souls desired, in that will they dwell.
(9) "But only he (will prosper) that brings to Allah a sound heart;
(10) And the Day that the Trumpet will be sounded - then will be smitten with terror those who are in the heavens, and those who are on earth, except such as Allah will please (to exempt): and all shall come to His (Presence) as beings conscious of their lowliness.
