(42) The Trumpet will (just) be sounded, when all that are in the heavens and on earth will swoon, except such as it will please Allah (to exempt). Then will a second one be sounded, when, behold, they will be standing and looking on!

(43) A Guide and a Message to men of Understanding.

(44) He set on the (earth), mountains standing firm, high above it, and bestowed blessings on the earth, and measure therein all things to give them nourishment in due proportion, in four Days, in accordance with (the needs of) those who seek (Sustenance).

(45) Then seest thou such a one as takes as his god his own vain desire? Allah has, knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart (and understanding), and put a cover on his sight. Who, then, will guide him after Allah (has withdrawn Guidance)? Will ye not then receive admonition?

(46) Those who shout out to thee from without the inner apartments - most of them lack understanding.

(47) "What! When we die and become dust, (shall we live again?) That is a (sort of) return far (from our understanding)."

(48) And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)-

(49) Verily in this is a Message for any that has a heart and understanding or who gives ear and earnestly witnesses (the truth).

(50) Is it that their faculties of understanding urge them to this, or are they but a people transgressing beyond bounds?
