(1052) And those who stand firm in their testimonies.

(1053) And those who guard their Salat (prayers) well.

(1054) So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they meet their Day which they are promised -

(1055) With their eyes lowered in fear and humility, ignominy covering them (all over)! That is the Day which they were promised!

(1056) "But all my calling added nothing but to (their) flight (from the truth).

(1057) And verily, every time I called unto them that You might forgive them, they thrust their fingers into their ears, covered themselves up with their garments, and persisted (in their refusal), and magnified themselves in pride.

(1058) "And they have said: 'You shall not leave your gods: nor shall you leave Wadd, nor Suwa', nor Yaghuth, nor Ya'uq nor Nasr' (these are the names of their idols).

(1059) Because of their sins they were drowned, then were made to enter the Fire. And they found none to help them instead of Allah.

(1060) 'And we know not whether evil is intended for those on earth, or whether their Lord intends for them a Right Path.
