(1) A kind word with forgiveness is better than almsgiving followed by injury. Allah is absolute, Clement.
(2) O ye who believe! Spend of the good things which ye have earned, and of that which We bring forth from the earth for you, and seek not the bad (with intent) to spend thereof (in charity) when ye would not take it for yourselves save with disdain; and know that Allah is absolute, Owner of Praise.
(3) Unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. And We charged those who received the Scripture before you, and (We charge) you, that ye keep your duty toward Allah. And if ye disbelieve, lo! unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, and Allah is ever absolute, Owner of Praise.
(4) Thy Lord is the absolute, the Lord of Mercy. If He will, He can remove you and can cause what He will to follow after you, even as He raised you from the seed of other folk.
(5) And Moses said: Though ye and all who are in the earth prove thankless, lo! Allah verily is absolute, Owner of Praise.
(6) Unto Him belongeth all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. Lo! Allah, He verily is the absolute, the Owner of Praise.
(7) One with whom was knowledge of the Scripture said: I will bring it thee before thy gaze returneth unto thee. And when he saw it set in his presence, (Solomon) said: This is of the bounty of my Lord, that He may try me whether I give thanks or am ungrateful. Whosoever giveth thanks he only giveth thanks for (the good of) his own soul; and whosoever is ungrateful (is ungrateful only to his own soul's hurt). For lo! my Lord is absolute in independence, Bountiful.
(8) And verily We gave Luqman wisdom, saying: Give thanks unto Allah; and whosoever giveth thanks, he giveth thanks for (the good of) his soul. And whosoever refuseth - Lo! Allah is absolute, Owner of Praise.
(9) Unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth. Lo! Allah, He is the absolute, the Owner of Praise.
(10) O mankind! Ye are the poor in your relation to Allah. And Allah! He is the absolute, the Owner of Praise.
