(1) (Alms are) for the poor who are confined in the way of allah-- they cannot go about in the land; the ignorant man thinks them to be rich on account of (their) abstaining (from begging); you can recognise them by their mark; they do not beg from men importunately; and whatever good thing you spend, surely Allah knows it.
(2) allah-- surely nothing is hidden from Him in the earth or in the heaven.
(3) Most surely this is the true explanation, and there is no god but Allah; and most surely allah-- He is the Mighty, the Wise.
(4) And do not believe but in him who follows your religion. Say: Surely the (true) guidance is the guidance of allah-- that one may be given (by Him) the like of what you were given; or they would contend with you by an argument before your Lord. Say: Surely grace is in the hand of Allah, He gives it to whom He pleases; and Allah is Ample-giving, Knowing.
(5) Certainly they disbelieve who say: Surely, allah-- He is the Messiah, son of Marium. Say: Who then could control anything as against Allah when He wished to destroy the Messiah son of Marium and his mother and all those on the earth? And Allah's is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is between them; He creates what He pleases; and Allah has power over all things,
(6) Do you not know that allah-- His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; He chastises whom He pleases; and forgives whom He pleases and Allah has power over all things.
(7) Say: Do you serve besides Allah that which does not control for you any harm, or any profit? And allah-- He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
(8) And they set apart a portion for Allah out of what He has created of tilth and cattle, and say: This is for allah-- so they assert-- and this for our associates; then what is for their associates, it reaches not to Allah, and whatever is (set apart) for Allah, it reaches to their associates; evil is that which they judge.
(9) And (as for) those who have earned evil, the punishment of an evil is the like of it, and abasement shall come upon them-- they shall have none to protect them from allah-- as if their faces had been covered with slices of the dense darkness of night; these are the inmates of the fire; in it they shall abide.
(10) Now surely the friends of allah-- they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve.
