(1) But satan caused them to slip out of it and removed them from that [condition] in which they had been. And We said, "Go down, [all of you], as enemies to one another, and you will have upon the earth a place of settlement and provision for a time."

(2) O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth [that is] lawful and good and do not follow the footsteps of satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.

(3) O you who have believed, enter into Islam completely [and perfectly] and do not follow the footsteps of satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.

(4) satan threatens you with poverty and orders you to immorality, while Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and bounty. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.

(5) Those who consume interest cannot stand [on the Day of Resurrection] except as one stands who is being beaten by satan into insanity. That is because they say, "Trade is [just] like interest." But Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden interest. So whoever has received an admonition from his Lord and desists may have what is past, and his affair rests with Allah. But whoever returns to [dealing in interest or usury] - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.

(6) But when she delivered her, she said, "My Lord, I have delivered a female." And Allah was most knowing of what she delivered, "And the male is not like the female. And I have named her Mary, and I seek refuge for her in You and [for] her descendants from satan, the expelled [from the mercy of Allah]."

(7) Indeed, those of you who turned back on the day the two armies met, it was satan who caused them to slip because of some [blame] they had earned. But Allah has already forgiven them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.

(8) That is only satan who frightens [you] of his supporters. So fear them not, but fear Me, if you are [indeed] believers.

(9) And [also] those who spend of their wealth to be seen by the people and believe not in Allah nor in the Last Day. And he to whom satan is a companion - then evil is he as a companion.

(10) Have you not seen those who claim to have believed in what was revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you? They wish to refer legislation to Taghut, while they were commanded to reject it; and satan wishes to lead them far astray.
