(2) So you see those in whose hearts is disease hastening into [association with] them, saying, "We are afraid a misfortune may strike us." But perhaps Allah will bring conquest or a decision from Him, and they will become, over what they have been concealing within themselves, regretful.

(3) And they swear by Allah that they are from among you while they are not from among you; but they are a people who are afraid.

(4) And those who join that which Allah has ordered to be joined and fear their Lord and are afraid of the evil of [their] account,

(5) They said, "Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress."

(6) And We had inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants and strike for them a dry path through the sea; you will not fear being overtaken [by Pharaoh] nor be afraid [of drowning]."
