(26) And warn mankind of a day when the doom will come upon them, and those who did wrong will say: Our Lord! Reprieve us for a little while. We will obey Thy call and will follow the messengers. (It will be answered): Did ye not swear before that there would be no end for you?

(27) A day when He will call you and ye will answer with His praise, and ye will think that ye have tarried but a little while.

(28) The (faithful) slaves of the Beneficent are they who walk upon the earth modestly, and when the foolish ones address them answer: Peace;

(29) Go with this my letter and throw it down unto them; then turn away and see what (answer) they return,

(30) But lo! I am going to send a present unto them, and to see with what (answer) the messengers return.
