(321) And Allah sets forth a parable: (Consider) a town safe and secure to which its means of subsistence come in abundance from every quarter; but it became ungrateful to Allah's favors, therefore Allah made it to taste the utmost degree of hunger and fear because of what they wrought.

(322) And for those who were Jews We prohibited what We have related to you already, and We did them no injustice, but they were unjust to themselves.

(323) Grateful for His favors; He chose him and guided him on the right path.

(324) And if you take your turn, then retaliate with the like of that with which you were afflicted; but if you are patient, it will certainly be best for those who are patient.

(325) The offspring of those whom We bore with Nuh; surely he was a grateful servant.

(326) If you do good, you will do good for your own souls, and if you do evil, it shall be for them. So when the second promise came (We raised another people) that they may bring you to grief and that they may enter the mosque as they entered it the first time, and that they might destroy whatever they gained ascendancy over with utter destruction.

(327) Do not associate with Allah any other god, lest you sit down despised, neglected.

(328) Surely the squanderers are the fellows of the Shaitans and the Shaitan is ever ungrateful to his Lord.

(329) All this-- the evil of it-- is hateful in the sight of your Lord.

(330) This is of what your Lord has revealed to you of wisdom, and do not associate any other god with Allah lest you should be thrown into hell, blamed, cast away.
