(71) Then will Allah say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Recount My favour to thee and to thy mother. Behold! I strengthened thee with the holy spirit, so that thou didst speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. Behold! I taught thee the book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel and behold! thou makest out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, by My leave, and thou breathest into it and it becometh a bird by My leave, and thou healest those born blind, and the lepers, by My leave. And behold! thou bringest forth the dead by My leave. And behold! I did restrain the Children of Israel from (violence to) thee when thou didst show them the clear Signs, and the unbelievers among them said: 'This is nothing but evident magic.'

(72) Those to whom We have given the book know this as they know their own sons. Those who have lost their own souls refuse therefore to believe.

(73) There is not an animal (that lives) on the earth, nor a being that flies on its wings, but (forms part of) communities like you. Nothing have we omitted from the book, and they (all) shall be gathered to their Lord in the end.

(74) These were the men to whom We gave the book, and authority, and prophethood: if these (their descendants) reject them, Behold! We shall entrust their charge to a new people who reject them not.

(75) No just estimate of Allah do they make when they say: "Nothing doth Allah send down to man (by way of revelation)" Say: "Who then sent down the book which Moses brought?- a light and guidance to man: But ye make it into (separate) sheets for show, while ye conceal much (of its contents): therein were ye taught that which ye knew not- neither ye nor your fathers." Say: "Allah (sent it down)": Then leave them to plunge in vain discourse and trifling.

(76) And this is a book which We have sent down, bringing blessings, and confirming (the revelations) which came before it: that thou mayest warn the mother of cities and all around her. Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in this (book), and they are constant in guarding their prayers.

(77) Say: "Shall I seek for judge other than Allah? - when He it is Who hath sent unto you the book, explained in detail." They know full well, to whom We have given the book, that it hath been sent down from thy Lord in truth. Never be then of those who doubt.

(78) Moreover, We gave Moses the book, completing (Our favour) to those who would do right, and explaining all things in detail,- and a guide and a mercy, that they might believe in the meeting with their Lord.

(79) And this is a book which We have revealed as a blessing: so follow it and be righteous, that ye may receive mercy:

(80) Lest ye should say: "The book was sent down to two Peoples before us, and for our part, we remained unacquainted with all that they learned by assiduous study:"
