(1) And thus do We detail the verses, and [thus] the way of the criminals will become evident.

(2) And thus We have placed within every city the greatest of its criminals to conspire therein. But they conspire not except against themselves, and they perceive [it] not.

(3) So if they deny you, [O Muhammad], say, "Your Lord is the possessor of vast mercy; but His punishment cannot be repelled from the people who are criminals."

(4) Indeed, those who deny Our verses and are arrogant toward them - the gates of Heaven will not be opened for them, nor will they enter Paradise until a camel enters into the eye of a needle. And thus do We recompense the criminals.

(5) And We rained upon them a rain [of stones]. Then see how was the end of the criminals.

(6) So We sent upon them the flood and locusts and lice and frogs and blood as distinct signs, but they were arrogant and were a criminal people.

(7) That He should establish the truth and abolish falsehood, even if the criminals disliked it.

(8) Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after your belief. If We pardon one faction of you - We will punish another faction because they were criminals.

(9) And We had already destroyed generations before you when they wronged, and their messengers had come to them with clear proofs, but they were not to believe. Thus do We recompense the criminal people

(10) So who is more unjust than he who invents a lie about Allah or denies His signs? Indeed, the criminals will not succeed
