(1) And thus do We detail the verses, and [thus] the way of the criminals will become evident.

(2) And thus We have placed within every city the greatest of its criminals to conspire therein. But they conspire not except against themselves, and they perceive [it] not.

(3) So if they deny you, [O Muhammad], say, "Your Lord is the possessor of vast mercy; but His punishment cannot be repelled from the people who are criminals."

(4) Indeed, those who deny Our verses and are arrogant toward them - the gates of Heaven will not be opened for them, nor will they enter Paradise until a camel enters into the eye of a needle. And thus do We recompense the criminals.

(5) And We rained upon them a rain [of stones]. Then see how was the end of the criminals.

(6) That He should establish the truth and abolish falsehood, even if the criminals disliked it.

(7) Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after your belief. If We pardon one faction of you - We will punish another faction because they were criminals.

(8) So who is more unjust than he who invents a lie about Allah or denies His signs? Indeed, the criminals will not succeed

(9) Say, "Have you considered: if His punishment should come to you by night or by day - for which [aspect] of it would the criminals be impatient?"

(10) And Allah will establish the truth by His words, even if the criminals dislike it."
