(1) Indeed, what you are promised is coming, and you will not cause failure [to Allah].

(2) And let not those who disbelieve think they will escape. Indeed, they will not cause failure [to Allah].

(3) So travel freely, [O disbelievers], throughout the land [during] four months but know that you cannot cause failure to Allah and that Allah will disgrace the disbelievers.

(4) And [it is] an announcement from Allah and His Messenger to the people on the day of the greater pilgrimage that Allah is disassociated from the disbelievers, and [so is] His Messenger. So if you repent, that is best for you; but if you turn away - then know that you will not cause failure to Allah. And give tidings to those who disbelieve of a painful punishment.

(5) And they ask information of you, [O Muhammad], "Is it true?" Say, "Yes, by my Lord. Indeed, it is truth; and you will not cause failure [to Allah]."

(6) Those were not causing failure [to Allah] on earth, nor did they have besides Allah any protectors. For them the punishment will be multiplied. They were not able to hear, nor did they see.

(7) He said, "Allah will only bring it to you if He wills, and you will not cause [Him] failure.

(8) Or that He would not seize them during their [usual] activity, and they could not cause failure?

(9) But the ones who strove against Our verses, [seeking] to cause failure - those are the companions of Hellfire.

(10) Never think that the disbelievers are causing failure [to Allah] upon the earth. Their refuge will be the Fire - and how wretched the destination.
