(1) Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. And for them is a great punishment.

(2) The lightning almost snatches away their sight. Every time it lights [the way] for them, they walk therein; but when darkness comes over them, they stand [still]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken away their hearing and their sight. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.

(3) And [mention] when Abraham was raising the foundations of the House and [with him] Ishmael, [saying], "Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed You are the hearing, the Knowing.

(4) So if they believe in the same as you believe in, then they have been [rightly] guided; but if they turn away, they are only in dissension, and Allah will be sufficient for you against them. And He is the hearing, the Knowing.

(5) Then whoever alters the bequest after he has heard it - the sin is only upon those who have altered it. Indeed, Allah is hearing and Knowing.

(6) And do not make [your oath by] Allah an excuse against being righteous and fearing Allah and making peace among people. And Allah is hearing and Knowing.

(7) And if they decide on divorce - then indeed, Allah is hearing and Knowing.

(8) And fight in the cause of Allah and know that Allah is hearing and Knowing.

(9) There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is hearing and Knowing.

(10) Descendants, some of them from others. And Allah is hearing and Knowing.
