(1) Indeed, We have sent you, [O Muhammad], with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner, and you will not be asked about the companions of hellfire.

(2) And when it is said to him, "Fear Allah," pride in the sin takes hold of him. Sufficient for him is hellfire, and how wretched is the resting place.

(3) Say to those who disbelieve, "You will be overcome and gathered together to hell, and wretched is the resting place."

(4) So is one who pursues the pleasure of Allah like one who brings upon himself the anger of Allah and whose refuge is hell? And wretched is the destination.

(5) [It is but] a small enjoyment; then their [final] refuge is hell, and wretched is the resting place.

(6) And some among them believed in it, and some among them were averse to it. And sufficient is hell as a blaze.

(7) But whoever kills a believer intentionally - his recompense is hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him and has cursed him and has prepared for him a great punishment.

(8) Indeed, those whom the angels take [in death] while wronging themselves - [the angels] will say, "In what [condition] were you?" They will say, "We were oppressed in the land." The angels will say, "Was not the earth of Allah spacious [enough] for you to emigrate therein?" For those, their refuge is hell - and evil it is as a destination.

(9) And whoever opposes the Messenger after guidance has become clear to him and follows other than the way of the believers - We will give him what he has taken and drive him into hell, and evil it is as a destination.

(10) The refuge of those will be hell, and they will not find from it an escape.
