(1) Do they await but that Allah should come to them in covers of clouds and the angels [as well] and the matter is [then] decided? And to Allah [all] matters are returned.

(2) To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And to Allah will [all] matters be returned.

(3) You will surely be tested in your possessions and in yourselves. And you will surely hear from those who were given the Scripture before you and from those who associate others with Allah much abuse. But if you are patient and fear Allah - indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of determination.

(4) And [remember] when He showed them to you, when you met, as few in your eyes, and He made you [appear] as few in their eyes so that Allah might accomplish a matter already destined. And to Allah are [all] matters returned.

(5) They had already desired dissension before and had upset matters for you until the truth came and the ordinance of Allah appeared, while they were averse.

(6) [And they are] those who, if We give them authority in the land, establish prayer and give zakah and enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong. And to Allah belongs the outcome of [all] matters.

(7) He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them. And to Allah will be returned [all] matters.

(8) O my son, establish prayer, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and be patient over what befalls you. Indeed, [all] that is of the matters [requiring] determination.

(9) And whoever submits his face to Allah while he is a doer of good - then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. And to Allah will be the outcome of [all] matters.

(10) And if they deny you, [O Muhammad] - already were messengers denied before you. And to Allah are returned [all] matters.
