(51) (A brief) enjoyment in this world! - and then unto Us will be their return, then We shall make them taste the severest torment because they used to disbelieve [in Allah, belie His messengers, deny and challenge His Ayat (proofs, signs, verses, etc.)]. (52) Then after him We sent messengers to their people. They brought them clear proofs, but they would not believe what they had already rejected beforehand. They rejected the Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord and disobeyed His messengers, and followed the command of every proud obstinate (oppressor of the truth, from their leaders). (سورة هود, Hud, Chapter #11, Verse #59) (Arabic, Transliteration, Urdu (Ahmed Ali), Urdu (Jalandhry), Farsi, Yusuf Ali, Shakir, Picthal, Mohsin Khan, French, Spanish, Indonesian, Malay, German, Bosnian, Russian, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, Tafsir - Jalal ad-Din, Tafsir - King Fahad Quran Complex) |

(58) And when Our messengers came to Lut (Lot), he was grieved on account of them and felt himself straitened for them (lest the town people should approach them to commit sodomy with them). Indeed, morning is their appointed time. Is not the morning near?"
