(731) But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ship, and made them viceroys (in the earth), while We drowned those who denied Our revelations. See then the nature of the consequence for those who had been warned.

(732) He said: Your prayer is heard. Do ye twain keep to the straight path, and follow not the road of those who have no knowledge.

(733) And We brought the Children of Israel across the sea, and Pharaoh with his hosts pursued them in rebellion and transgression, till, when the (fate of) drowning overtook him, he exclaimed: I believe that there is no Allah save Him in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am of those who surrender (unto Him).

(734) And if thou (Muhammad) art in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto thee, then question those who read the Scripture (that was) before thee. Verily the Truth from thy Lord hath come unto thee. So be not thou of the waverers.

(735) And be not thou of those who deny the revelations of Allah, for then wert thou of the losers.

(736) Lo! those for whom the word of thy Lord (concerning sinners) hath effect will not believe,

(737) And if thy Lord willed, all who are in the earth would have believed together. Wouldst thou (Muhammad) compel men until they are believers?

(738) It is not for any soul to believe save by the permission of Allah. He hath set uncleanness upon those who have no sense.

(739) Say: Behold what is in the heavens and the earth! But revelations and warnings avail not folk who will not believe.

(740) What expect they save the like of the days of those who passed away before them? Say: Expect then! I am with you among the expectant.
