(11) And when a daughter is announced to one of them his face becomes black and he is full of wrath.

(13) Then maybe you will kill yourself with grief, sorrowing after them, if they do not believe in this announcement.

(14) And when Our communications are recited to him, he turns back proudly, as if he had not heard them, as though in his ears were a heaviness, therefore announce to him a painful chastisement.

(15) You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward.

(16) Allah has revealed the best announcement, a book conformable in its various parts, repeating, whereat do shudder the skins of those who fear their Lord, then their skins and their hearts become pliant to the remembrance of Allah; this is Allah's guidance, He guides with it whom He pleases; and (as for) him whom Allah makes err, there is no guide for him.

(17) These are the communications of Allah which We recite to you with truth; then in what announcement would they believe after Allah and His communications?

(18) Who hears the communications of Allah recited to him, then persists proudly as though he had not heard them; so announce to him a painful punishment.

(19) Then let them bring an announcement like it if they are truthful.

(20) Do you then wonder at this announcement?
