(35) (The Queen of Sheba) said (when she received the letter): O chieftains! Lo! there hath been thrown unto me a noble letter.

(36) She said: O chieftains! Pronounce for me in my case. I decide no case till ye are present with me.

(37) He said: O chiefs! Which of you will bring me her throne before they come unto me, surrendering?

(38) And there were in the city nine persons who made mischief in the land and reformed not.

(39) And a man came from the uttermost part of the city, running. He said: O Moses! Lo! the chiefs take counsel against thee to slay thee; therefor escape. Lo! I am of those who give thee good advice.

(40) Thrust thy hand into the bosom of thy robe it will come forth white without hurt. And guard thy heart from fear. Then these shall be two proofs from your Lord unto Pharaoh and his chiefs. Lo! they are evil-living folk.
