(4) Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it.

(5) And the two seas are not alike: this, fresh, sweet, good to drink, this (other) bitter, salt. And from them both ye eat fresh meat and derive the ornament that ye wear. And thou seest the ship cleaving them with its prow that ye may seek of His bounty, and that haply ye may give thanks.

(6) (And it was said unto him): Strike the ground with thy foot. This (spring) is a cool bath and a refreshing drink.

(7) Neither cool nor refreshing.

(8) As it would burst with rage. Whenever a (fresh) host is flung therein the wardens thereof ask them: Came there unto you no warner?
