(252) It is Allah Who has created seven heavens and of the earth the like thereof (i.e. seven). His Command descends between them (heavens and earth), that you may know that Allah has power over all things, and that Allah surrounds all things in (His) Knowledge.

(257) And the heaven will be rent asunder, for that Day it (the heaven) will be frail and torn up.

(258) See you not how Allah has created the seven heavens one above another?

(259) 'And we have sought to reach the heaven; but found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires.

(260) Whereon the heaven will be cleft asunder? His Promise is certainly to be accomplished.
