(11) It befits not (the Majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son [this refers to the slander of Christians against Allah, by saying that 'Îsa (Jesus) is the son of Allah]. Glorified (and Exalted) be He (above all that they associate with Him). When He decrees a thing, He only says to it: "Be!" - and it is.
(12) And man (the disbeliever) says: "When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?"
(13) Nay, We shall record what he says, and We shall increase his torment (in the Hell);
(14) Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back,
(15) [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said to those around: "Do you not hear (what he says)?"
(16) (Allah says to His Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Allah (Alone) created the heavens and the earth with truth (and none shared Him in their creation)." Verily! Therein is surely a sign for those who believe.
(17) Allah has not made for any man two hearts inside his body. Neither has He made your wives whom you declare to be like your mothers' backs, your real mothers. [az-Zihar is the saying of a husband to his wife, "You are to me like the back of my mother" i.e. You are unlawful for me to approach], nor has He made your adopted sons your real sons. That is but your saying with your mouths. But Allah says the truth, and He guides to the (Right) Way.
(18) And he puts forth for Us a parable, and forgets his own creation. He says: "Who will give life to these bones after they are rotten and have become dust?"
(19) Verily, His Command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, "Be!" - and it is!
(20) Verily, this my brother (in religion) has ninety-nine ewes, while I have (only) one ewe, and he says: "Hand it over to me, and he overpowered me in speech."
