(91) And certainly We sent Nuh to his people, so he remained among them a thousand years save fifty years. And the deluge overtook them, while they were unjust.

(92) But they rejected him, so a severe earthquake overtook them, and they became motionless bodies in their abode.

(93) So each We punished for his sin; of them was he on whom We sent down a violent storm, and of them was he whom the rumbling overtook, and of them was he whom We made to be swallowed up by the earth, and of them was he whom We drowned; and it did not beseem Allah that He should be unjust to them, but they were unjust to their own souls.

(94) Therefore turn away from them and wait, surely they too are waiting.

(95) And He drove down those of the followers of the Book who backed them from their fortresses and He cast awe into their hearts; some you killed and you took captive another part.

(96) But they turned aside, so We sent upon them a torrent of which the rush could not be withstood, and in place of their two gardens We gave to them two gardens yielding bitter fruit and (growing) tamarisk and a few lote-trees.

(97) And (then) see them, so they too shall see.

(98) And (then) see, for they too shall see.

(99) Was it that we (only) took them in scorn, or have our eyes (now) turned aside from them?

(100) Surely you shall die and they (too) shall surely die.
