(31) Men whom neither trade nor sale (business) diverts from the Remembrance of Allah (with heart and tongue), nor from performing As-Salat (iqamat-as-salat), nor from giving the Zakat. They fear a Day when hearts and eyes will be overturned (out of the horror of the torment of the Day of Resurrection).
(32) And perform As-Salat (iqamat-as-salat), and give Zakat and obey the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) that you may receive mercy (from Allah).
(33) Those who perform As-Salat (iqamat-as-salat) and give Zakat and they believe with certainty in the Hereafter (resurrection, recompense of their good and bad deeds, Paradise and Hell).
(34) Recite (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) what has been revealed to you of the Book (the Qur'an), and perform As-Salat (iqamat-as-salat). Verily, As-Salat (the prayer) prevents from Al-Fahsha' (i.e. great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse) and Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil wicked deed) and the remembering (praising) of (you by) Allah (in front of the angels) is greater indeed [than your remembering (praising) of Allah in prayers. And Allah knows what you do.
(35) (And remain always) turning in repentance to Him (only), and be afraid and dutiful to Him; and perform As-Salat (iqamat-as-salat) and be not of Al-Mushrikun (the polytheists, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah).
(36) Those who perform As-Salat (iqamat-as-salat) and give Zakat and they have faith in the Hereafter with certainty.
(37) And stay in your houses, and do not display yourselves like that of the times of ignorance, and perform As-Salat (iqamat-as-salat), and give Zakat and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah wishes only to remove Ar-Rijs (evil deeds and sins) from you, O members of the family (of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم), and to purify you with a thorough purification.
(38) And no bearer of burdens shall bear another's burden; and if one heavily laden calls another to (bear) his load, nothing of it will be lifted even though he be near of kin. You (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) can warn only those who fear their Lord unseen and perform As-Salat (iqamat-as-salat). And he who purifies himself (from all kinds of sins), then he purifies only for the benefit of his ownself. And to Allah is the (final) Return (of all).
(39) Verily, those who recite the Book of Allah (this Qur'an), and perform As-Salat (iqamat-as-salat), and spend (in charity) out of what We have provided for them, secretly and openly, they hope for a (sure) trade-gain that will never perish.
(40) And those who answer the Call of their Lord [i.e. to believe that He is the only One Lord (Allah), and to worship none but Him Alone], and perform As-Salat (iqamat-as-salat), and who (conduct) their affairs by mutual consultation, and who spend of what We have bestowed on them.
