(42) And who doth greater wrong than he who hath been reminded of the revelations of his Lord, yet turneth away from them and forgetteth what his hands send forward (to the Judgment)? Lo! on their hearts We have placed coverings so that they understand not, and in their ears a deafness. And though thou call them to the guidance, in that case they can never be led aright.

(43) Those whose eyes were hoodwinked from My reminder, and who could not bear to hear.

(44) But as a reminder unto him who feareth,

(45) (Moses) said: My Lord! relieve my mind

(46) And Moses conceived a fear in his mind.

(47) Thus relate We unto thee (Muhammad) some tidings of that which happened of old, and We have given thee from Our presence a reminder.

(48) Never cometh there unto them a new reminder from their Lord but they listen to it while they play,

(49) And We sent not (as Our messengers) before thee other than men, whom We inspired. Ask the followers of the Reminder if ye know not?

(50) Now We have revealed unto you a Scripture wherein is your Reminder. Have ye then no sense?
