(261) (It will be said): "This is because, when Allah Alone was invoked (in worship) you disbelieved (denied), but when partners were joined to Him, you believed! So the judgement is only with Allah, the most High, the most Great! "
(262) The creation of the heavens and the earth is indeed greater than the creation of mankind; yet, most of mankind know not.
(263) Verily, the Hour (Day of Judgement) is surely coming, there is no doubt about it, yet most men believe not.
(264) Allah, it is He Who has made the night for you that you may rest therein and the day for you to see. Truly, Allah is full of Bounty to mankind; yet, most of mankind give no thanks.
(265) A revelation from (Allah), the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
(266) Giving glad tidings [of Paradise to the one who believes in the Oneness of Allah (i.e. Islamic Monotheism) and fears Allah much (abstains from all kinds of sins and evil deeds) and loves Allah much (performing all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)], and warning (of punishment in the Hell-Fire to the one who disbelieves in the Oneness of Allah), but most of them turn away, so they hear not.
(267) "An entertainment from (Allah), the Oft-Forgiving, most Merciful."
(268) To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and He is the most High, the most Great.
(269) Nearly the heavens might be rent asunder from above them (by His Majesty): and the angels glorify the praises of their Lord, and ask for forgiveness for those on the earth. Verily, Allah is the Oft-Forgiving, the most Merciful.
(270) That is (the Paradise) whereof Allah gives glad tidings to His slaves who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds. Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم): "No reward do I ask of you for this except to be kind to me for my kinship with you." And whoever earns a good righteous deed, We shall give him an increase of good in respect thereof. Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, most Ready to appreciate (the deeds of those who are obedient to Him).
