(312) O Prophet! When believing women come to you to give you the Bai'ah (pledge), that they will not associate anything in worship with Allah, that they will not steal, that they will not commit illegal sexual intercourse, that they will not kill their children, that they will not utter slander, intentionally forging falsehood (i.e. by making illegal children belonging to their husbands), and that they will not disobey you in Ma'ruf (Islamic Monotheism and all that which Islam ordains), then accept their Bai'ah (pledge), and ask Allah to forgive them. The Hawariyyun (the disciples) said: "We are Allah's helpers" (i.e. we will strive in His Cause!). Then a group of the Children of Israel believed and a group disbelieved. So We gave power to those who believed against their enemies, and they became the victorious (uppermost).

(316) If you lend Allah a goodly loan (i.e. spend in Allah's Cause), He will double it for you, and will forgive you. And Allah is most Ready to appreciate and to reward, most Forbearing,
(317) O Prophet! Why do you forbid (for yourself) that which Allah has allowed to you, seeking to please your wives? And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, most Merciful.
(318) Who has created the seven heavens one above another; you can see no fault in the creation of the most Gracious. Then look again: "Can you see any rifts?"
(319) It almost bursts up with fury. Every time a group is cast therein, its keeper will ask: "Did no warner come to you?"
(320) Should not He Who has created know? And He is the most Kind and Courteous (to His slaves), All-Aware (of everything).
