(771) Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter.

(772) And say: "My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the Shayatin (devils).

(773) "And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they should come near me."

(774) Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back,

(775) The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured).

(776) He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!"

(777) "Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?"

(778) And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof; then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters) will not be successful.

(779) The fornicatress and the fornicator, flog each of them with a hundred stripes. Let not pity withhold you in their case, in a punishment prescribed by Allah, if you believe in Allah and the Last Day. And let a party of the believers witness their punishment. (This punishment is for unmarried persons guilty of the above crime, but if married persons commit it (illegal sex), the punishment is to stone them to death, according to Allah's Law).

(780) The adulterer-fornicator marries not but an adulteress-fornicatress or a Mushrikah, and the adulteress-fornicatress none marries her except an adulterer-fornicator or a Muskrik [and that means that the man who agrees to marry (have a sexual relation with) a Mushrikah (female polytheist, pagan or idolatress) or a prostitute, then surely he is either an adulterer-fornicator, or a Mushrik (polytheist, pagan or idolater). And the woman who agrees to marry (have a sexual relation with) a Mushrik (polytheist, pagan or idolater) or an adulterer-fornicator, then she is either a prostitute or a Mushrikah (female polytheist, pagan, or idolatress)]. Such a thing is forbidden to the believers (of Islamic Monotheism).
