(111) And those of the people of the Scripture who backed them (the disbelievers), Allah brought them down from their forts and cast terror into their hearts, (so that) a group (of them) you killed, and a group (of them) you made captives.

(112) You (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) can postpone (the turn of) whom you will of them (your wives), and you may receive whom you will. And whomsoever you desire of those whom you have set aside (her turn temporarily), it is no sin on you (to receive her again): that is better that they may be comforted and not grieved, and may all be pleased with what you give them. Allah knows what is in your hearts. And Allah is Ever All-Knowing, Most Forbearing.

(113) He knows that which goes into the earth and that which comes forth from it, and that which descends from the heaven and that which ascends to it. And He is the Most Merciful, the Oft-Forgiving.

(114) And a sign for them is the dead land. We give it life, and We bring forth from it grains, so that they eat thereof.

(115) And We have made therein gardens of date-palms and grapes, and We have caused springs of water to gush forth therein.

(116) Does not man see that We have created him from Nutfah (mixed male and female sexual discharge - semen drops). Yet behold he (stands forth) as an open opponent.

(117) And he puts forth for Us a parable, and forgets his own creation. He says: "Who will give life to these bones after they are rotten and have become dust?"

(118) "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought forth (to Hell)."

(119) But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment),

(120) But We cast him forth on the naked shore while he was sick,
