(135) Allah citeth an example for those who disbelieve: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot, who were under two of Our righteous slaves yet betrayed them so that they (the husbands) availed them naught against Allah and it was said (unto them): Enter the Fire along with those who enter.

(136) Which He imposed on them for seven long nights and eight long days so that thou mightest have seen men lying overthrown, as they were hollow trunks of palm-trees.

(137) Though they will be given sight of them. The guilty man will long to be able to ransom himself from the punishment of that day at the price of his children

(138) And the places of worship are only for Allah, so pray not unto anyone along with Allah.

(139) Keep vigil the night long, save a little -

(140) And worship Him (a portion) of the night. And glorify Him through the livelong night.
