(32) They say: Our Lord! Whoever did prepare this for us, oh, give him double portion of the Fire!

(34) Whoso desireth the harvest of the Hereafter, We give him increase in its harvest. And whoso desireth the harvest of the world, We give him thereof, and he hath no portion in the Hereafter.

(35) And they allot to Him a portion of His bondmen! Lo! man is verily a mere ingrate.

(36) Is it they who apportion thy Lord's mercy? We have apportioned among them their livelihood in the life of the world, and raised some of them above others in rank that some of them may take labour from others; and the mercy of thy Lord is better than (the wealth) that they amass.

(37) Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Have ye thought on all that ye invoke beside Allah? Show me what they have created of the earth. Or have they any portion in the heavens? Bring me a scripture before this (Scripture), or some vestige of knowledge (in support of what ye say), if ye are truthful.

(38) And worship Him (a portion) of the night. And glorify Him through the livelong night.

(39) Reward proportioned (to their evil deeds).

(40) From a drop of seed. He createth him and proportioneth him,
