(541) And they shall say: (All) praise is due to Allah, Who has made grief to depart from us; most surely our Lord is Forgiving, Multiplier of rewards,

(542) say: Have you considered your associates which you call upon besides Allah? Show me what part of the earth they have created, or have they any share in the heavens; or, have We given them a book so that they follow a clear argument thereof? Nay, the unjust do not hold out promises one to another but only to deceive.

(543) And when it is said to them: Spend out of what Allah has given you, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Shall we feed him whom, if Allah please, He could feed? You are in naught but clear error.

(544) And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful?

(545) They shall say: O woe to us! who has raised us up from our sleeping-place? This is what the Beneficent Allah promised and the apostles told the truth.

(546) And he strikes out a likeness for Us and forgets his own creation. says he: Who will give life to the bones when they are rotten?

(547) say: He will give life to them Who brought them into existence at first, and He is cognizant of all creation

(548) His command, when He intends anything, is only to say to it: Be, so it is.

(549) And they say: This is nothing but clear magic:

(550) say: Aye! and you shall be abject.
