(1) And their prophet said to them, "Indeed, a sign of his kingship is that the chest will come to you in which is assurance from your Lord and a remnant of what the family of Moses and the family of aaron had left, carried by the angels. Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you are believers."

(2) Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him. And we revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Descendants, Jesus, Job, Jonah, aaron, and Solomon, and to David We gave the book [of Psalms].

(3) And We gave to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - all [of them] We guided. And Noah, We guided before; and among his descendants, David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and aaron. Thus do We reward the doers of good.

(4) The Lord of Moses and aaron."

(5) And We made an appointment with Moses for thirty nights and perfected them by [the addition of] ten; so the term of his Lord was completed as forty nights. And Moses said to his brother aaron, "Take my place among my people, do right [by them], and do not follow the way of the corrupters."

(6) And when Moses returned to his people, angry and grieved, he said, "How wretched is that by which you have replaced me after [my departure]. Were you impatient over the matter of your Lord?" And he threw down the tablets and seized his brother by [the hair of] his head, pulling him toward him. [aaron] said, "O son of my mother, indeed the people oppressed me and were about to kill me, so let not the enemies rejoice over me and do not place me among the wrongdoing people."

(7) Then We sent after them Moses and aaron to Pharaoh and his establishment with Our signs, but they behaved arrogantly and were a criminal people

(8) O sister of aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste."

(9) And We gave him out of Our mercy his brother aaron as a prophet.

(10) aaron, my brother.
