(2) And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allah, "They are dead." Rather, they are alive, but you perceive [it] not.
(3) And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision,
(4) And the eminent among the people of Pharaoh said," Will you leave Moses and his people to cause corruption in the land and abandon you and your gods?" [Pharaoh] said, "We will kill their sons and keep their women alive; and indeed, we are subjugators over them."
(5) And [recall, O Children of Israel], when We saved you from the people of Pharaoh, [who were] afflicting you with the worst torment - killing your sons and keeping your women alive. And in that was a great trial from your Lord.
(6) And when the caravan departed [from Egypt], their father said, "Indeed, I find the smell of Joseph [and would say that he was alive] if you did not think me weakened in mind."
(7) And [recall, O Children of Israel], when Moses said to His people, "Remember the favor of Allah upon you when He saved you from the people of Pharaoh, who were afflicting you with the worst torment and were slaughtering your [newborn] sons and keeping your females alive. And in that was a great trial from your Lord.
(8) They are, [in fact], dead, not alive, and they do not perceive when they will be resurrected.
(9) And peace be upon him the day he was born and the day he dies and the day he is raised alive.
(10) And He has made me blessed wherever I am and has enjoined upon me prayer and zakah as long as I remain alive
