(1) And the parable of those who disbelieve is as the parable of one who calls out to that which hears no more than a call and a cry; deaf, dumb (and) blind, so they do not understand.

(2) And if grace from Allah come to you, he would certainly cry out, as if there had not been any friendship between you and him: Would that I had been with them, then I should have attained a mighty good fortune.

(3) Yet their cry, when Our punishment came to them, was nothing but that they said: Surely we were unjust.

(4) And the dwellers of the garden will call out to the inmates of the fire: Surely we have found what our Lord promised us to be true; have you too found what your Lord promised to be true? They will say: Yes. Then a crier will cry out among them that the curse of Allah is on the unjust.

(5) Their cry in it shall be: Glory to Thee, O Allah! and their greeting in it shall be: Peace; and the last of their cry shall be: Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

(6) And whatever favor is (bestowed) on you it is from Allah; then when evil afflicts you, to Him do you cry for aid.

(7) And say: The truth is from your Lord, so let him who please believe, and let him who please disbelieve; surely We have prepared for the iniquitous a fire, the curtains of which shall encompass them about; and if they cry for water, they shall be given water like molten brass which will scald their faces; evil the drink and ill the resting-place.

(8) And this ceased not to be their cry till We made them cut off, extinct.

(9) Until when We overtake those who lead easy lives among them with punishment, lo! they cry for succor.

(10) cry not for succor this day; surely you shall not be given help from Us.
