(131) We helped him against people who rejected Our Signs: truly they were a people given to evil: so We drowned them (in the Flood) all together.

(133) And yet among men there are such as dispute about Allah, without knowledge, and follow every evil one obstinate in rebellion!

(134) About the (evil One) it is decreed that whoever turns to him for friendship, him will he lead astray, and he will guide him to the Penalty of the Fire.

(135) (Perhaps) they call on one whose hurt is nearer than his profit: evil, indeed, is the patron, and evil the companion (or help)!

(136) When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, thou wilt notice a denial on the faces of the Unbelievers! they nearly attack with violence those who rehearse Our Signs to them. Say, "Shall I tell you of something (far) worse than these Signs? It is the Fire (of Hell)! Allah has promised it to the Unbelievers! and evil is that destination!"

(137) Repel evil with that which is best: We are well acquainted with the things they say.

(138) And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the evil Ones.

(139) "Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!"

(140) Those who brought forward the lie are a body among yourselves: think it not to be an evil to you; On the contrary it is good for you: to every man among them (will come the punishment) of the sin that he earned, and to him who took on himself the lead among them, will be a penalty grievous.
