(631) Hast thou not seen how Allah hath made all that is in the earth subservient unto you? And the ship runneth upon the sea by His command, and He holdeth back the heaven from falling on the earth unless by His leave. Lo! Allah is, for mankind, Full of Pity, Merciful.

(632) And He it is Who gave you life, then He will cause you to die, and then will give you life (again). Lo! man is verily an ingrate.

(633) And if they wrangle with thee, say: Allah is Best Aware of what ye do.

(634) Allah will judge between you on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein ye used to differ.

(635) O mankind! A similitude is coined, so pay ye heed to it: Lo! those on whom ye call beside Allah will never create a fly though they combine together for the purpose. And if the fly took something from them, they could not rescue it from it. So weak are (both) the seeker and the sought!

(636) And the chieftains of his folk, who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter, and whom We had made soft in the life of the world, said: This is only a mortal like you, who eateth of that whereof ye eat and drinketh of that ye drink.

(637) if ye were to obey a mortal like yourselves, then, lo! ye surely would be losers.

(638) There is naught but our life of the world; we die and we live, and we shall not be raised (again).

(639) And if the Truth had followed their desires, verily the heavens and the earth and whosoever is therein had been corrupted. Nay, We have brought them their Reminder, but from their Reminder they now turn away.

(640) And He it is Who giveth life and causeth death, and His is the difference of night and day. Have ye then no sense?
