Allah does not change a people's lot unless they change what is in their hearts. But when (once) Allah willeth a people's punishment, there can be no turning it back, nor will they find, besides Him, any to protect.

(64) "For those who believe and work righteousness, is (every) blessedness, and a beautiful place of (final) return."

(65) (They are things) dead, lifeless: nor do they know when they will be raised up.

(66) Glory to (Allah) Who did take His servant for a Journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the farthest Mosque, whose precincts We did bless,- in order that We might show him some of Our Signs: for He is the One Who heareth and seeth (all things).

(67) (He hath made it) Straight (and Clear) in order that He may warn (the godless) of a terrible Punishment from Him, and that He may give Glad Tidings to the Believers who work righteous deeds, that they shall have a goodly Reward,

(68) "Why didst thou not, as thou wentest into thy garden, say: 'Allah's will (be done)! There is no power but with Allah!' If thou dost see me less than thee in wealth and sons,

(69) Thus were they made powerless to scale it or to dig through it.

(70) "And He hath made me blessed wheresoever I be, and hath enjoined on me Prayer and Charity as long as I live;
