(185) When carcans are about their necks and chains. They are dragged

(186) (And it is said unto them): This is because ye exulted in the earth without right, and because ye were petulant.

(187) As for A'ad, they were arrogant in the land without right, and they said: Who is mightier than us in power? Could they not see that Allah Who created them, He was mightier than them in power? And they denied Our revelations.

(188) That, your thought which ye did think about your Lord, hath ruined you; and ye find yourselves (this day) among the lost.

(189) How! Are they still in doubt about the meeting with their Lord? Lo! Is not He surrounding all things?

(190) Or say they: He hath invented a lie concerning Allah? If Allah willed, He could have sealed thy heart (against them). And Allah will wipe out the lie and will vindicate the truth by His words. Lo! He is Aware of what is hidden in the breasts (of men).
