(53) Yea, to Him be praise, in the heavens and on earth; and in the late afternoon and when the day begins to decline.

(54) we bestowed (in the past) Wisdom on Luqman: "Show (thy) gratitude to Allah." Any who is (so) grateful does so to the profit of his own soul: but if any is ungrateful, verily Allah is free of all wants, Worthy of all praise.

(55) If thou ask them, who it is that created the heavens and the earth. They will certainly say, "Allah". Say: "praise be to Allah!" But most of them understand not.

(56) To Allah belong all things in heaven and earth: verily Allah is He (that is) free of all wants, worthy of all praise.

(57) Only those believe in Our Signs, who, when they are recited to them, fall down in prostration, and celebrate the praises of their Lord, nor are they (ever) puffed up with pride.

(58) Ye have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the praise of Allah.

(59) For Muslim men and women,- for believing men and women, for devout men and women, for true men and women, for men and women who are patient and constant, for men and women who humble themselves, for men and women who give in Charity, for men and women who fast (and deny themselves), for men and women who guard their chastity, and for men and women who engage much in Allah's praise,- for them has Allah prepared forgiveness and great reward.

(60) O ye who believe! Celebrate the praises of Allah, and do this often;
