(31) If you do good, you will do good for your own souls, and if you do evil, it shall be for them. So when the second promise came (We raised another people) that they may bring you to grief and that they may enter the mosque as they entered it the first time, and that they might destroy whatever they gained ascendancy over with utter destruction.
(32) And they say: What! when we shall have become bones and decayed particles, shall we then certainly be raised up, being a new creation?
(33) And nothing prevented people from believing when the guidance came to them except that they said: What! has Allah raised up a mortal to be an apostle?
(34) This is their retribution because they disbelieved in Our communications and said What! when we shall have become bones and decayed particles, shall we then indeed be raised up into a new creation?
(35) Say: Call upon Allah or call upon, the Beneficent Allah; whichever you call upon, He has the best names; and do not utter your prayer with a very raised voice nor be silent with regard to it, and seek a way between these.
(36) Then We raised them up that We might know which of the two parties was best able to compute the time for which they remained.
(37) These it is for whom are gardens of perpetuity beneath which rivers flow, ornaments shall be given to them therein of bracelets of gold, and they shall wear green robes of fine silk and thick silk brocade interwoven with gold, reclining therein on raised couches; excellent the recompense and goodly the resting place.
(38) And peace on him on the day he was born, and on the day he dies, and on the day he is raised to life
(39) And peace on me on the day I was born, and on the day I die, and on the day I am raised to life.
(40) And We raised him high in Heaven.
