(11) Whoso is wont to think (through envy) that Allah will not give him (Muhammad) victory in the world and the Hereafter (and is enraged at the thought of his victory), let him stretch a rope up to the roof (of his dwelling), and let him hang himself. Then let him see whether his strategy dispelleth that whereat he rageth!.

(12) Sanction is given unto those who fight because they have been wronged; and Allah is indeed Able to give them victory;

(13) Of mankind is he who saith: We believe in Allah, but, if he be made to suffer for the sake of Allah, he mistaketh the persecution of mankind for Allah's punishment; and then, if victory cometh from thy Lord, will say: Lo! we were with you (all the while). (14) He said: My Lord! Give me victory over folk who work corruption.

(15) In Allah's help to victory. He helpeth to victory whom He will. He is the Mighty, the Merciful.

(16) And they say: When cometh this victory (of yours) if ye are truthful?

(17) Say (unto them): On the day of the victory the faith of those who disbelieve (and who then will believe) will not avail them, neither will they be reprieved.

(18) He will adjust your works for you and will forgive you your sins. Whosoever obeyeth Allah and His messenger, he verily hath gained a signal victory.

(19) Lo! We have given thee (O Muhammad) a signal victory,

(20) Allah was well pleased with the believers when they swore allegiance unto thee beneath the tree, and He knew what was in their hearts, and He sent down peace of reassurance on them, and hath rewarded them with a near victory;
