(133) "(I worship) only Him Who made me, and He will certainly guide me."

(134) And question thou our messengers whom We sent before thee; did We appoint any deities other than (Allah) Most Gracious, to be worshipped?

(135) "For Allah, He is my Lord and your Lord: so worship ye Him: this is a Straight Way."

(136) Say: "If (Allah) Most Gracious had a son, I would be the first to worship."

(137) And when mankind are gathered together (at the Resurrection), they will be hostile to them and reject their worship (altogether)!

(138) Mention (Hud) one of 'Ad's (own) brethren: Behold, he warned his people about the winding Sand-tracts: but there have been warners before him and after him: "worship ye none other than Allah: Truly I fear for you the Penalty of a Mighty Day."

(139) Why then was no help forthcoming to them from those whom they worshipped as gods, besides Allah, as a means of access (to Allah)? Nay, they left them in the lurch: but that was their falsehood and their invention.

(140) And make not another an object of worship with Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open!
