And what is the life of this world, but goods and chattels of deception?

(134) No misfortune can happen on earth or in your souls but is recorded in a decree before We bring it into existence: That is truly easy for Allah:

(135) O Prophet! When ye do divorce women, divorce them at their prescribed periods, and count (accurately), their prescribed periods: And fear Allah your Lord: and turn them not out of their houses, nor shall they (themselves) leave, except in case they are guilty of some open lewdness, those are limits set by Allah: and any who transgresses the limits of Allah, does verily wrong his (own) soul: thou knowest not if perchance Allah will bring about thereafter some new situation.

(136) Say: "It is not in my power to cause you harm, or to bring you to right conduct."

(137) Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light).

(138) Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)!

(139) And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture,

(140) Nay, heed him not: But bow down in adoration, and bring thyself the closer (to Allah)!
