(21) And We wished to be Gracious to those who were being depressed in the land, to make them leaders (in Faith) and make them heirs,

(23) In a land close by; but they, (even) after (this) defeat of theirs, will soon be victorious-

(24) So on that Day no excuse of theirs will avail the transgressors, nor will they be invited (then) to seek grace (by repentance).

(25) And He made you heirs of their lands, their houses, and their goods, and of a land which ye had not frequented (before). And Allah has power over all things.

(26) O ye who believe! Enter not the Prophet's houses,- until leave is given you,- for a meal, (and then) not (so early as) to wait for its preparation: but when ye are invited, enter; and when ye have taken your meal, disperse, without seeking familiar talk. Such (behaviour) annoys the Prophet: he is ashamed to dismiss you, but Allah is not ashamed (to tell you) the truth. And when ye ask (his ladies) for anything ye want, ask them from before a screen: that makes for greater purity for your hearts and for theirs. Nor is it right for you that ye should annoy Allah's Messenger, or that ye should marry his widows after him at any time. Truly such a thing is in Allah's sight an enormity.

(27) Such will be the Garden of which ye are made heirs for your (good) deeds (in life).

(28) So leave them to babble and play (with vanities) until they meet that Day of theirs, which they have been promised.

(29) Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised!

(30) Or have they a ladder, by which they can (climb up to heaven and) listen (to its secrets)? Then let (such a) listener of theirs produce a manifest proof.
