(12) Verily, Allah knows what things they invoke instead of Him. He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

And those, whom you invoke or call upon instead of Him, own not even a Qitmir (the thin membrane over the date-stone).

(15) "instead of Allah, and lead them on to the way of flaming Fire (Hell);

(16) He said: "I did love the good (these horses) instead of remembering my Lord (in my 'Asr prayer)" till the time was over, and (the sun) had hidden in the veil (of night).

(17) That is Allah, your Lord, the Creator of all things: La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). How then are you turning away (from Allah, by worshipping others instead of Him)?

(18) That was because you had been exulting in the earth without any right (by worshipping others instead of Allah and by committing crimes), and that you used to rejoice extremely (in your error).

(19) And those whom they invoke instead of Him have no power of intercession - except for those who bear witness to the truth knowingly (i.e. believed in the Oneness of Allah, and obeyed His Orders), and they know (the facts about the Oneness of Allah).

(20) And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, you deny (Him by disbelief)!
